On Immigration and Native Entrepreneurship

چکیده
We present a novel theory that immigrants facilitate innovation and entrepreneurship by being willing able to invest in new skills. Immigrants whose human capital is not immediately transferable the host country face lower opportunity costs of investing skills or methods will be more exible their investments than observationally equivalent natives. Areas with large numbers may therefore lead innovation, even among provide empirical evidence from United States consistent theory's predictions.
